Recent Career History
Currently Employed at Availity LLC as a Senior Desktop Support Technician since April 2019. I have more of a Microsoft SME role now, though the title lacks.
Started as a desktop support technician, contracted through Teksystems.
Earned a Teir 2 spot in the first four months in and grown from there. Where I worked escalated issues from Teir 1 and helped train up staff on issues and trends.
Took the reins of the BitLocker encryption conversion project from our McAfee encryption that was there for years. Worked hands on with all our Windows clients.
Learned ECM, packaging, and scripting on the fly to take over for leaving personnel, I now train and lead the team for Windows side operations such as packaging, scripting, and troubleshooting various ECM/Software Center complexities.
I am currently working a large project to migrate to Windows 11, and work with the team on getting Autopilot working for our customers. It will be a huge plus for our fully remote staff.
Recently, I have been working on learning AWS and taking the practitioner courses to start building on a new area of knowledge to further advance my career.

I started as a contractor working at Family Support Services of North Florida, I was contracted through Five Points Technology Group, this was an onsite position with several offices around north Florida. When the contract ended, I was hired directly on.
I learned how to use Exchange and handle different tasks and solutions as I was on a team of one and sometimes two technicians for 200 users. So we had to be flexible on things we handled. Which was about everything related to our devices to our onsite servers.
I also assisted with patching servers after hours.
We consolidated offices, and moved others and I was a part of that process.
We had a tape backup system, I used to recover files and also changes out tapes every Monday morning.
This community based care organization was funded by the State of Florida, so we had to be accountable for all inventory. I lead that effort in our yearly checkup. We always had 100% on the audit year after year.
